We have an exciting contest for Holly fans, both old and new, to promote her upcoming album Run Body Run, out on iTunes on May 15th and her North by Northeast show at the Rivoli on June 16th.

We want you to tell us about that one Holly song that changed your life! …or your day!

What song spoke to you helped you through that rough patch, or made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

What’s your own personal interpretation of a Holly song? If you haven’t heard one, go have a listen!

Tell us in 200 words or less, or via a 2 minute or less YouTube video and submit your entry (or video link) to songcontest@hollymcnarland.net.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive:

• transportation for the winner and a friend to Toronto for the North by Northeast festival
• accomodations for two for two nights
• 2 full delegate festival passes to NxNE
• the very first signed copy of the new album, Run Body Run

Welcome back, everyone! After a little hibernation, there’s a lot of a news to report from Camp Holly.

First, and most exciting, we have two track previews from the forthcoming album up on SoundCloud – Alone’s Just Fine and Dig A Little. If you love one of these, head on over to the Facebook fan page to take part in the poll and let us know which of these tunes you like best.

Along with that news, is that the new album – titled Run Body Run – will be released digitally on iTunes on May 15th! This release is a truly indie release with the heavy lifting being done in-house, so we need you more than ever for your support.

Then the first show supporting the album will be on June 16th at the Rivoli in Toronto.

Between now and then, we’ll have some goodies coming your way, including an exciting contest starting soon with some great prizes!
